What 150 mm means for this product
In Australia, it can generally be used if:
- load projects no more than 150 mm beyond the vehicle body on either side;
- keep the vehicle and load within 2.5 m overall width;
- do not create a dangerous projection;
- do not obscure mirrors, windows, lights, indicators or number plates;
- are securely restrained against forward, rearward, sideways and vertical movement; and
- remain within the vehicle, gutter and rack load limits.
Road use is subject to applicable vehicle dimension and load-restraint laws. When installed and loaded, neither the rack nor cargo may project more than 150 mm beyond the vehicle body, and the vehicle plus load must not exceed 2.5 m overall width. Cargo must be independently restrained, must not create a dangerous projection or obstruct required visibility, lights or number plates, and must remain within all stated vehicle and product load ratings.
Attachment safety and road compliance

Attachment performance varies with panel material, thickness and curvature, paint, protective pads, moisture, wax, salt contamination and temperature. Magnetic pull-force ratings under ideal conditions do not establish resistance to sliding or peeling on a vehicle panel. Airflow can create uplift, drag and crosswind forces, while vibration, braking and cornering place additional loads on the complete assembly.

Drivers must ensure the complete setup complies with applicable state or territory requirements wherever they travel, including secure load restraint, overall dimensions, side projections, visibility and safe vehicle operation.
